If you have ever watched an LPGA match or tournament, then you may have wondered how long the courses are. Believe it or not the LPGA plays different distances compared to the PGA. I did some digging to find out exactly what the distances are for the LPGA courses and tournaments.

How long are LPGA Courses? According to the LPGA and USGA, LPGA courses are anywhere from 6200 yards to 6600 yards in length for an entire course. This means that the average LPGA length per hole is about 344 yards to 366 yards long.

Does LPGA Play From Ladies Tees?

The LPGA does not play from the Ladies Tees. For matches and tournaments, the LPGA sets up their own tee off area that is different from the Ladies Tees on the respective courses. Generally, the LPGA plays from further distances than the Ladies Tees. According to research, the average LPGA yardage is 2000 yards more than the total yardage from an average course playing from the Ladies Tees.
