Understandably, this wedge has pros and cons you should consider before buying it. 

Pros

• Glide 3.0 wedges are made from a softer type of stainless steel and have a thermoplastic turning port, offering a lighter feel, which results in more forgiveness.
• You have plenty of sole options. There are four different sole options, but even the thinnest one is wider than most wedges in the market.
• The Ping Glide 3.0 is easily customizable because it offers a variety of loft and grind options. 

Cons

• The light feel may offer more forgiveness, but it doesn’t allow you to control your shots as well as other heavier wedges.
• Ping 3.0 is considered pretty pricey, especially compared to CBX 2. 

Cleveland CBX 2

The second model of Cleveland’s CBX series is a great wedge, designed to make short distances easier and more manageable by amateurs and provide better control. Reviewers unanimously maintain that it’s a vast improvement on the original CBX, but there are also potential disadvantages that you need to keep in mind.

• The stock shaft is pretty light, allowing even less skilled players more control over their shots and making it easier to maintain consistency.
• CBX 2 is extremely forgiving, not only due to its lightweight nature but also the wider tow and hollow cavity. It’s ideal for all skill levels. 
• The hollow cavity and the head shape of CBX 2 may also contribute to more precision.
• Price-wise, CBX is relatively more affordable, which makes it the best option if you’re on a budget.

Cons

• Although there are several great additions to the CBX 2, its design is less attractive. However, you won’t notice much difference if you’re used to the original CBX.
• CBX 2 only has eight loft options, which doesn’t offer many customization options, at least compared to the Ping Glide 3.0.
