Stix vs. Robin Golf

Stix and Robin Golf are both new names in the golf world. Founded in 2019 and 2020, respectively, they have branded themselves as modern golf brands accessible to new players.

Stix has a comprehensive selection of clubs and gear and offers both club sets and individual clubs for adults with used options available. Robin Golf has a much more limited selection and only sells clubs in sets but offers clubs for children.

Range of Products

Stix far outperforms Robin Golf in the variety of products available. Robin Golf offers a limited number of club sets and a few hats. They have a 9-piece and 13-piece set for both men and women and two junior sets. Then there are a few more sets that bundle one type of club.

On the other hand, Stix has many more club set options. Since they do not have separate clubs for men and women, they can offer even more options. In addition to their club sets, they also sell individual clubs. Stix also has hats, but they also offer a selection of gear, from golf balls and tees to gloves and bags.

Customization

Stix golf clubs come in lengths suited for golfers who are 5’ to 6’7” (152.4-200.6 cm) tall. Robin golf clubs have a smaller height range, from 5’2” to 6’2” (157.5-188 cm), although the brand has announced upcoming petite options. Robin also offers two junior’s club sets for children 6-8 and 9-12.

Robin modifies the shaft flex of their clubs based on the men’s and women’s sets. Since Stix clubs are not divided by gender, you can select your preferred shaft flex for any club.

Individual Clubs

Stix sells individual clubs, while Robin Golf only offers club sets. In most cases, the Robin Golf will be the cheaper of the two if you’re planning to buy a whole set. On the other hand, Stix allows you to customize your set exactly to your preferences.

Return Periods and Buying Options

It can take time to decide whether new clubs are right for you, and Stix and Robin Golf understand. However, Stix has more fine print in its return policy than Robin Golf.

Stix clubs are available only online, so you cannot try them before you buy. However, they offer a 30-day return policy for their new clubs. The policy specifies that you can only gently use five of the clubs in a set. Additionally, the customer has to pay for return shipping of Stix clubs.

Robin Golf clubs are always available online but are also sold in PGA Tour Superstores in the United States. This allows you to try them in person before you buy. However, they still have a 45-day return policy provided the clubs do not have more than gentle wear. Robin Golf also covers the return shipping costs.

Option To Buy Used

Robin Golf does not sell used clubs. However, you can visit the Stix Outlet for pre-owned Stix clubs.

It’s important to remember that used clubs are final sale, so there is no option to return the clubs if they are not right for you.
